04: Level Design

Risk: The Asymmetrical Board

Discussion: Do Games Need Symmetry?

What is the purpose of creating symmetry in level design? What are ways in which level design could be more interesting, without creating perfect symmetry between the levels? Does level design become more balanced the more iterations there are?

Decision: To balance, or not to balance
